The difference between deodorant and antiperspirant is that deodorants reduce the smell of sweat without affecting the production of sweat, while antiperspirants reduce the production of sweat itself, and you will sweat less. If you have sensitive skin, or for other reasons experience skin irritation and allergic reactions after using deodorant or antiperspirant, you should choose products that are mild and without perfume and alcohol. It may pay to try a few different products until you find a deodorant or antiperspirant that suits you. Feel free to choose one that is gentle on the skin.
