Andol 100
 
Andol® inhibits the sticking and accumulation of blood platelets (platelets) and thus prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombus) - inhibition of platelet aggregation.
Be sure to consult your doctor before using this medicine for the first time.
The drug Andol 100 is used:
To reduce the risk of mortality in patients suspected of having a sudden heart attack (acute myocardial infarction);
To reduce the risk of death and morbidity in patients who have had a previous heart attack
(heart attack);
For secondary prevention of stroke;
To reduce the risk of transient ischemic attacks (TIA-transient reduction of blood flow in the brain) and stroke in patients suffering from TIA;
To reduce the risk of morbidity and mortality in patients with stable and unstable angina
pectoris;
For the prevention of thromboembolism after surgery on a blood vessel or surgical intervention, e.g.
PTCA, CABG, carotid endarterectomy, arteriovenous shunts in dialysis patients;
For prophylaxis of deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism after long-term immobilization, e.g.
after major surgery;
To reduce the risk of a first myocardial infarction in people with risk factors for
suffering from heart disease and blood vessel disease, e.g. diabetes, hyperlipidemia (increased lipid concentration in the blood), hypertension (high blood pressure), obesity, smoking, old age.
