When shaving body hair, such as on the legs, in the armpits, along the bikini line and when shaving intimately, it is important to take good care of the skin both before and after shaving.
Before shaving:
Moisturize, clean and soften the areas of the body to be shaved. Use a good soap on the body and a soap suitable for the abdomen when shaving intimately.
Apply shaving foam or shaving gel. It is an advantage if this is transparent, so that the skin underneath is easier to see.
Tip! If you have run out of shaving foam or gel, use a good shower oil or hair conditioner instead!
Always use a clean and sharp razor blade - this reduces the risk of skin irritation. Disposable planers can be a good alternative.
Avoid ingrown hairs and inflammation of the hair follicles by always shaving in the same direction as the hair grows.
