How long toothbrushes last depends on the brushing style. While some brush too hard and wear out the toothbrush after a few weeks, others brush more gently, which makes it last longer. Despite the fact that the bristles may not stand up to all edges, it is still recommended to change toothbrushes at least four times a year. Toothbrushes come into contact with a large number of bacteria, both from the microenvironment in the oral cavity and the surrounding environment.
