Wound cleaning and washing

If you have superficial wounds, the water from the tap will be clean enough to clean the wound, but if there is a lot of dirt in the wound, it is recommended to wash, saline solution, chlorhexidine or the practical wet wipes. If you bleed from the wound, it's a good idea to let it bleed a little before you clean it, as the blood helps the wound clean itself. After using the wound cleaner, you can apply a plaster or bandage - depending on how big the wound or injury is.
