Intimate shaving

The skin in the intimate area is very sensitive. When you shave here, the skin and hair follicles can become irritated, and the skin then becomes red and prickly. Small cuts, tears and hair growing into the skin can also cause infection. The key to intimate shaving is to irritate the skin as little as possible.

Good advice before intimate shaving

Clean and soften the area to be shaved.

Use a shaving gel or shaving foam adapted to the intimate area. Try a clear shaving gel, then it will be easier to see where you are shaving.

Make sure the razor you use has sharp blades, it reduces any irritation.

Shave in the same direction as the hair grows, and try to avoid too many repetitions. Shave preferably in the evening so that the area is not irritated by tight clothing immediately after shaving.

Rinse the area well after shaving so that no shaving gel or foam remains.
