Infection with the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 causes a disease called COVID-19. This disease has a wide spectrum of symptoms. Some infected people get no symptoms or only mild cold symptoms, others get serious symptoms such as breathing problems and shortness of breath.

Common symptoms of corona

Corona symptoms when you are vaccinated

You can become infected with corona even if you are fully vaccinated or have undergone infection and covid-19 in the past. Vaccinated and previously infected persons must therefore also follow the current infection control rules, as well as test themselves for corona symptoms.

Infection with covid-19 in people who have already been vaccinated or have undergone the disease in the past will usually cause milder corona symptoms and a milder course of the disease. Often no symptoms are experienced at all.
