Artelac Eye drops are an over-the-counter medicine for use in reduced tear production and dry eyes.
Artelac Eye drops contain the active ingredient hypromellose. Helps keep the tear film that protects the eye intact and has a lubricating effect. Can be used to treat dry eyes when insufficient natural tear fluid is produced. The dropper bottle contains a preservative. Contact lenses should be removed before instillation and not put back in for at least 15 minutes after instillation. An opened bottle is stable for 4 weeks.
