HAWLOR FLOWER WITH LEAF
Latin name and family: Crataegus monogyna L. (Malaceae)
Description: A shrub or low tree with thorny young twigs that may be glabrous or hairy. The leaves are polymorphic with 3-7 separated lobes. The flowers are grouped in raceme-shaped inflorescences, white or pink. The fruit is an egg-shaped berry with a stone up to 7 mm long. It grows in central and southern Europe and western Asia, in oak forests, common in our region.
