The composition and mode of action of the Hepalife forte product:
1. Siliphos – silibin-phospholipid complex 80 mg:
- Silibin (32 mg) – stimulates the activity and synthesis of the enzyme in the liver; antioxidant activity that prevents lipid peroxidation and loss of glutathione; anti-inflammatory and anti-fibrotic activity; reduces insulin resistance and accumulation of fat in the liver
- Lecithin (48 mg) – carrier of silibina through the hepatocyte membrane (helps to improve silibina iskoristljivost); improves liver function by lowering the level of LDL cholesterol and increasing VLDL cholesterol; maintains the normal structure of the hepatocyte membrane
2. S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM-e) 111.1 mg:
Prominent antioxidant and hepatoprotective agent; participates in the synthesis of glutathione (the most powerful cleaner of the liver from toxins)
3. Choline-L-bitartrate 85 mg:
Participates in the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine; important for the secretion of VLDL in the liver
4. Vitamin E 12 mg:
A potent antioxidant; modulates the inflammatory response; modulates cell proliferation; improves AST and ALT liver enzyme levels; reduces the accumulation of fat in the liver, fibrosis and inflammation.
5. Vitamin B complex
