The drug Tylol Hot is intended to alleviate the symptoms of colds and flu, such as congestion of the nasal mucosa (stuffy nose), sneezing, runny nose, elevated body temperature, headache and pain in muscles and joints.
The drug Tylol Hot contains paracetamol, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and chlorphenamine maleate as active substances.
Paracetamol relieves pain and belongs to a group of drugs known as non-opioid analgesics. Paracetamol is both an analgesic (relieves pain) and an antipyretic (lowers body temperature).
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride is a nasal decongestant, which serves to facilitate breathing. Chlorphenamine belongs to a group of drugs called antihistamines. Antihistamines help to eliminate allergy symptoms: runny nose (rhinorrhea), nasal congestion, redness and/or eye sensitivity.
