Choice of initial formula for infants with lactose intolerance
Aptamil Lactose Free is an adapted milk formula intended for babies with lactose intolerance. It can be used from birth onwards or after stopping breastfeeding (with diagnosed congenital lactose intolerance). Milk formulas contain lactose, natural sugar as well as mother's milk. When the infant is lactose intolerant, this sugar is removed and replaced with an alternative maltodextrin.
