The drug GastroGuard contains two active substances, calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which belong to the group of drugs called antacids.
GastroGuard, chewable tablets, are used as symptomatic therapy for the short-term relief of stomach complaints caused by:
hyperacidity (excess stomach acid)
heartburn (eg dyspepsia, including indigestion during pregnancy, gastritis, ulcer and gastroesophageal reflux, gallbladder function disorders).
