The disposable lancets are intended for self-testing by people with diabetes and can also be used together with obsolete Microlet lancets. The lancets are manufactured with a silicone coating that makes the jab more flexible and protects the skin. The lancets are available in seven different colours. The purpose is to make it easier for the user to remember to change "colour" every time a measurement is taken. The lancets remain sterile for five years, see the date on the packaging.
