Rhinostop® Syrup
 
Rhinostop syrup contains three active components - paracetamol, pseudoephedrine and chlorphenamine, whose actions complement each other.
 
Paracetamol relieves pain and reduces increased body temperature.
Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride acts on the small blood vessels in the lining of the nose by causing them to narrow, thereby preventing excessive secretion of nasal secretions and relieving the symptoms of inflammation of the lining of the nose and sinuses.
Chlorphenamine maleate with its antihistaminic action reduces runny nose and nasal congestion, as well as tearing and stinging of the eyes.
 
Rhinostop syrup is used in children over 6 years of age, in whom the symptoms of cold, flu or allergic rhinitis have not improved with appropriate symptomatic therapy, including:
increased secretion from the nose;
nasal and sinus congestion;
redness of the nose and eyes;
burning and watering of the eyes;
itching in the nose or throat;
a sneeze;
headache;
sinus pain;
sore throat;
muscle and joint pain;
elevated body temperature;
general weakness.
