SERAPINN® is a proteolytic enzyme that has been used in the world for more than thirty years. SERAPINN® has a highly pronounced enzymatic activity including strong anti-inflammatory, anti-edematous, mucolytic and fibrinolytic effects.
Powerful effect on the breakdown of bradykinin - relieves pain by breaking down bradykinin, a substance known as a pain mediator.
Removal of inflammatory swellings - reduces the formation of inflammatory swellings by improving the difficult circulation in the focus of inflammation. SERAPINN® blocks the release of amines that cause pain in inflamed tissue, exerting an anti-inflammatory effect.
Pronounced fibrinolytic action - leads to the breakdown of fibrin and fibrinogen without a measurable effect on albumins and other proteins in the human body.
Accelerates the dilution and elimination of mucus, pus and blood clots (hematoma) - it accelerates the removal of mucus, pus and blood clots by dissolving and diluting the created mucus as well as fibrin deposits.
It improves the effect of the antibiotic - increasing its concentration in the focus of the infection.
SERAPINN® is indicated for use in the following conditions:
Surgery: Postoperative swelling and bruising, remission of swelling after surgical suturing, establishment of tissue drainage, relief of expectoration of post anesthetic mucus.
ENT: Acute and chronic sinusitis, otitis media, acute tonsillitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis, rhinopharyngitis, inflammation of the Eustachian tube. Congestion of the nose as well as discharge of mucus down the pharynx.
Obstetrics and gynecology: mastopathy, fibromatous breast changes, adnexitis, salpingitis, lateral episiotomy, perineal laceration
Orthopedics: Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis, after surgical interventions, fractures, tendinitis, sprains, dislocations. Stomatology and oral surgery: gingivitis, periodontitis, surgical interventions in the maxillofacial region, after extractions.
