Aphthous gel Propobaza® is a natural solution for immediate pain relief and reduction of inflammation of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity caused by canker sores, mechanical injuries to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity or tongue (caused by the use of orthodontic appliances or accidental bites), injuries resulting from dental interventions, herpetic stomatitis and the like. It is also used as an auxiliary tool in the treatment of milder forms of gingivitis and angular cheilitis (gums). Aftin gel Propobaza® is formulated on the basis of a bioadhesive (mucoadhesive) polymer that forms a mechanical barrier and provides effective protection against microorganisms and toxins, but also prevents moisture loss from tissues. In this way, Aftin gel Propobaza® promotes the healing and regeneration of injured surfaces of the oral mucosa. By stimulating epithelization, there is a reduction in the symptoms that accompany the occurrence of aphthae and other inflammatory conditions of the oral mucosa. At the same time, the bioadhesive base enables prolonged contact and a superior effect of the incorporated ingredients at the point of application.
