Octenisept® wound gel is used for acute skin injuries, such as scratches, lacerations and minor burns. In the wound healing process, the skin cells must have enough moisture to be able to divide and fill the wound, which is best achieved in a moist environment. In addition, the wound should be protected from infection. The special formula of Octenisept® gel for wounds optimally supplies the wound with moisture and forms a protective layer against bacteria. This protective layer prevents the penetration of microorganisms into the wound, because they are deactivated in the gel itself. In this way, Octenisept® gel protects against (new) infections and inflammation and promotes and accelerates the natural healing of the wound.
