Octenisept is an antiseptic (disinfectant) solution for direct use for external local application. Octenisept is used repeatedly to kill bacteria and prevent infections caused by pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi to promote wound healing processes. Octenisept can be used both on intact and injured skin, mucous membranes and their surrounding area for a maximum of 14 days.
 
Octenisept can be used without medical consultation by children, adolescents and adults for the antiseptic treatment of intact skin, superficial injuries (such as abrasions, scratches, small cuts and burns). Octenisept can be used for aseptic treatment after insect bites, etc.
