Allergic reaction in skin

Itchy skin can occur for various reasons, including insect bites and allergies. As a rule, acute itching can be alleviated by over-the-counter remedies, but it is very important to find out why you are itching, so that you can find the right treatment. If you want to treat mild eczema as a result of, for example, soap, cosmetics, sunburn or cleaning agents, Hydrocortisone is recommended, which is a mild steroid that has an inhibitory effect on inflammation in the skin and is anti-itch. Another anti-itching agent that is recommended is Eurax cream. If the itching does not subside after seven days of treatment, a doctor should be consulted. Always read the package insert before use.
