Stomach and intestines-Constipation and sluggish stomach

Constipation and sluggish stomach

The vast majority of people experience challenges with constipation and a sluggish stomach from time to time. The stomach and stools become slow and hard, and toilet visits less frequent. Constipation and a slow stomach can be both painful and troublesome, but as a rule the problems are not dangerous. Increased fluid intake, fiber-rich food and regular activity are good advice that can help with the ailments. In case of persistent constipation or sluggish stomach, treatment with over-the-counter laxatives can be tried. Please note that laxatives should only be used for short periods, as long-term use can be harmful to you. Contact a doctor if the symptoms do not disappear after a few days of treatment, and always read the package insert carefully before use.
